Every 6 months [approx] I organise a Karting Grand Prix, usually alternatively at St Eval and Menheniot. Steve Dash became the latest driver to come home in front and become champion at the 6th grand prix kart race. It was thoroughly deserved after Dashy's unlucky kart failure at St Eval on 28th Feb this year, when he was miles out in front, and he had also just been pipped into the runners up spot around Menheniot last time out in June 2008 by outsider Ben Harrison. It would have been tough for the absent Ben Harrison or anyone else to stop Stevo this time as he led from pillar to post despite a brief twitch in the final heat when Ross Blatchford found incredible speed in the wet and looked like mounting a huge challenge.
