Matty Barker and his 25lb + pike caught in Feb 2009

2009 -  Matty Barker's February trip to the Norfolk Broads in the height of winter gave him the chance to seek out some quality pike. He was in for a shock though as he destroyed his previous best fish of 18lb taken over 15 years ago by landing this incredible 25lb 11oz monster. He is also the reigning Fishing Match champion of course.

2008 -  A few shrewd trips to tempt out the big fish at Carn Grey paid off for Ricko Barker and Jason Hoare when they landed these monsters at the end of 2008. Ricko's fish actually featured in national angling newspaper Angling Times.

2008 -  Chris Barker Senior smashed his own Perch record that has stood for over 30 years with this massive 3LB 11oz monster from Lakeview Country Club in Cornwall this past weekend [ 3/8/08 ]. It took double sweet corn and he had to guide it to the net carefully using only light tackle and nearly lost it in a large weed bed.
