Creme Egg Competition Latest News 2008

It looks as though the 2008 contest will be taking place and as soon as entries are confirmed then the preview will appear here. Early indications show that Jo Philp may yet be hosting the contest again at Stenalees while some people are swaying towards a possible home leg for Hoops in Sticker. It has also not been ruled out, but a return to Ashgrove House in Penwithick seems unlikely.

It looks as though Ricko will be out to try and take a quick 5th title in a row but the challengers are lining up. With 5 others already confirming their participation it looks like being a right old battle again. Former double champ Bear Barker has already sparked rumours of an early retirement as his form has dipped in recent years but many believe he should have one more crack at the big time with age still on his side.

The comp goes ahead on Sunday July 27th 2008 - entries now being taken.
